Who we are
standouthost provides IT support, custom software, web design, and hosting for businesses, and is based in Garner, North Carolina. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, area of interest, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to provide the services you ask about. We do not sell your information. Providing a phone number through this form does not authorize SMS replies. To receive support texts, initiate a text conversation using our support texting number.
Server logs
Like most websites, our server records basic technical information such as IP address, requested page, and timestamp. We use these logs to keep the site secure and working, and to reduce spam. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly for the basic operation of the site.
Third-party services
We load web fonts from Google Fonts, and messages you send are delivered to us by email. When we provide services, you may separately use third parties such as Microsoft 365, Zoho, Google Workspace, or Google Business Profile under their own terms and privacy policies.
Customer support texts
When you text us, we collect your phone number, message contents, timestamps, delivery information, and opt-in/opt-out records to provide support, maintain conversation history, and honor your messaging preferences. Authorized standouthost operators can access these conversations in our self-hosted support application. We retain the initial inbound message and subsequent opt-out and restart messages as evidence of your messaging preferences. Automated acknowledgment records help prevent duplicate confirmations. Records remain in our support system for service history and operational needs.
We do not sell your information or share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Telnyx and telecommunications carriers process messages as needed to deliver this service.
